This is a modified version of original Backbone harness, it has a modified front part between dog’s forelegs where the straps run parallel and do not cross as with original Backbone model. This type of harness suits dogs with a prominent sternum and/or a deep chest better – the modification prevents the harness from sliding sideways on turns and hugs the chest more effectively. It is also a good solution for dogs that have really big prominent breastbone sticking out – parallel straps don’t lay awkwardly on the breastbone but hug it from both sides.
Trop Backbone has narrow O-shaped neck opening makes it perfect for narrow and long dogs, while Trop Core fits better on stronger dogs with wider necks.The harness is extremely light. It is lined everywhere with a layer of quality softshell. The softshell lining is enough to ensure that the harness does not rub the dog, but does not contain an additional unnecessary padding that would make the whole harness bulky. This enables the harness to lie on the dog most naturally and unobtrusively, and the welcome side effect of everything is that it dries very quickly. It is washable and easy to maintain. Stitches on the webbing reflect the light and make the dog very noticeable in the dark.
It comes in rich petrol, magenta and black colours. The petrol and magenta versions can be paired with BOND collar and leash set.
