I’m Kristína, a scooterjoring and canicross athlete from Slovakia, competing with my dogs at both national and international level.

Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up around horses and later discovered dog-powered sports almost by chance – and it quickly became something that completely pulled me in.

I started running with my Russian Black Terrier Navaro, followed by Bajt, my small 15 kg dog. Then came Venom, an ESP and my main competition partner. Scooterjoring is now my main discipline, although we still return to canicross from time to time.

In a relatively short time, we have achieved numerous podium finishes in Slovakia, Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary. We became Slovak Champions in scooterjoring and have also competed at the World Championships, where we finished 11th out of 56 competitors.

For me, dog-powered sports are all about the connection and teamwork with my dogs. I love the feeling of working together as one team and seeing how far we can go together. Alongside competing, I also organize training sessions and public canicross events, helping others discover the sport and experience that same connection with their dogs.
